It’s National Doctor’s Day! The surgeons at NYBRA Plastic Surgery go above and beyond for the patients and families they serve. Their commitment to patient care and surgical craft reveals itself in every action. We wanted to take a moment to thank the physicians who lead our practice. “How do I love thee, let me count the ways. I know I know this sounds a bit dramatic, but I am beyond grateful to Dr. Israeli and Dr. Bank for what they pulled off. I came into Dr. Israeli’s office complaining about my botched surgery. I also had an issue with a flipped implant. In addition to all of that, I have been living with chronic pain for the last 10 years. Before going to NYBRA, I consulted with four different plastic surgeons in different institutions, in which none of them were able to help me. Dr. Israeli decided to bring on Dr. Bank for my second consultation because of my chronic nerve pain issues. I told Dr. Bank my entire story and we targeted where most of the pain was coming from. I told him that the plastic surgeon at Sloan Kettering told me that he couldn’t help me with my nerve pain. Dr. Bank answered immediately and said, “but I can”. Those were words of hope that I have not heard from any other doctors. Dr. Israeli told me that I would probably need two surgeries but may be happy after one surgery. Well now, if I look this amazing after my first surgery, I can’t even imagine what I will look like after the second surgery. It’s not just skills that these doctors possess. It’s heart. You can tell they both really care about their patients, and may I just add that the staff is also amazing. They are definitely the dream team. Going from under the muscle to over the muscle was the best decision that I have made. I have about 60% pain relief. Dr. Bank targeted the area where I had the most pain and took care of it. Thank you for all that you do for my community. I will be forever grateful.”
