ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Wendy Fried, M.D. is a board-certified OB/GYN, who is a partner at Northwell Physician Partners in OB/GYN at Lake Success and attending physician at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York where she performs her surgeries and deliveries. She is an Assistant Professor of OB/GYN at Hofstra Medical School and actively teaches medical students and residents. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (FACOG) and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Fried completed her medical education at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, New York, graduating with the distinction of Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA), National Medical Honor Society, and did her internship, residency and chief residency in OB/GYN at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset. She has been in active clinical practice in both Obstetrics and Gynecology for the last 26 years with special interest in advanced hysteroscopic, laparoscopic and robotic surgery, colposcopy, menopausal medicine, adolescent gynecology as well as all facets of Obstetrics, performing both low and high-risk deliveries. Dr. Fried is the author of the textbook Comprehensive Pocket Atlas of Hysteroscopy and has published numerous articles in the field of both Obstetrics and
Gynecology.
