Fellowship-trained surgeon brings advanced microsurgery and lymphatic surgery expertise to NYBRA’s growing team of reconstructive specialists
GREAT NECK, N.Y. — SEPTEMBER 14, 2026 — NYBRA Plastic Surgery announced today that Connor Crowley, MD, a fellowship-trained, board-eligible plastic surgeon specializing in microsurgical breast reconstruction, lymphatic surgery, and aesthetic procedures of the breast and body, has joined the practice. Dr. Crowley will see patients at NYBRA’s Great Neck office.
Academic and Clinical Background
Dr. Crowley earned his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine and completed his plastic surgery residency at Northwell Health, where he trained extensively in both aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. He went on to complete a microsurgery fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania and Fox Chase Cancer Center, one of the nation’s leading centers for microsurgical breast reconstruction.
“Dr. Crowley’s fellowship training in microsurgical breast reconstruction and lymphatic surgery adds a highly specialized skill set to our team,” said Randall Feingold, MD, FACS, founder of NYBRA Plastic Surgery. “His command of advanced techniques, from lumbar artery perforator flaps to vascularized lymph node transfer, allows us to offer our patients an even broader range of reconstructive options, delivered with the individualized, patient-first approach that has always defined NYBRA.”
Advanced Reconstructive and Lymphatic Surgery Expertise
Dr. Crowley has a particular interest in caring for breast cancer patients and offers the full spectrum of reconstructive options, including both implant-based and autologous reconstruction. In addition to DIEP flap reconstruction, he offers advanced techniques such as lumbar artery perforator (LAP) flaps, thigh-based reconstruction (PAP and TUG flaps), and “stacked” flaps that combine tissue from multiple donor sites to meet each patient’s individual reconstructive needs. He also offers surgical treatment for lymphedema, including lymphovenous bypass, vascularized lymph node transfer, and immediate lymphatic reconstruction following axillary node dissection.
“I’m honored to join NYBRA Plastic Surgery and its team of dedicated reconstructive specialists,” said Dr. Crowley. “Breast cancer patients face an incredibly complex journey, both physically and emotionally, and I see my role as their advocate throughout that process. I look forward to working closely with each patient to build a personalized treatment plan and to offer the full range of reconstructive options that help restore both their bodies and their confidence.”
Academic Contributions and Patient-Centered Approach
Dr. Crowley served as a Teaching Associate in Surgery at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Northwell Health and has contributed to the plastic surgery literature on topics including body contouring in the context of microsurgical breast reconstruction and post-operative comfort following breast surgery. He views the role of the plastic surgeon first and foremost as that of a patient advocate and is committed to guiding and empowering each patient through a highly personal and often complex process, developing thoughtful, individualized treatment plans that reflect each patient’s goals and priorities.
