Pause, Reflect, and Empower: A Special Year-End Event
December 6, 2025
As the year draws to a close, the rush of the holidays and the anticipation of a new year can leave little room for reflection and self-care. That’s why we’re inviting you to join us for a Patient Empowerment Program event with Carrie Bloom on December 17th at 7 PM via Zoom — a gentle, nurturing space to honor your journey, reconnect with yourself, and set intentions for the year ahead.
This year-end gathering is designed to help you pause, breathe, and reflect in a supportive community. During the session, participants will:
- Reconnect with the body through a brief chair yoga practice
- Settle the mind with a guided reflective meditation
- Capture the year using micro-journaling to explore the stories, lessons, and moments that shaped you
- Celebrate resilience by exploring themes of joy, triumph, challenge, bravery, and gratitude
Whether you’re a survivor, caregiver, or simply seeking a mindful moment to honor your year, this event offers an opportunity to pause, release what no longer serves you, and step into the New Year with clarity and strength.
Join us — registration is required. Reserve your spot today and gift yourself the time to reflect, restore, and renew.
ABOUT THE PRESENTER: Carrie Bloom
When Carrie was in her fifties, she took her first yoga class and quickly became a passionate, dedicated practitioner of yoga and meditation. Around the same time, she decided to pursue a long-held goal of earning a master’s degree. She enrolled in an MA program at DePaul University in Chicago, where her studies focused on yoga and contemplative practices to support healthy aging. In conjunction with her master’s studies, Carrie completed a yoga teacher training program at Yogaview in Chicago. Carrie also draws on her 40-year career at the American Medical Association, where she focused on health care policy, bringing a unique perspective to her teaching. Her passion lies in blending evidence-based learning with the practices of yoga and meditation to inspire others to cultivate health, meaning, and purpose at any age.
