ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Dr. Debora E. Barchilon is a board-certified psychiatrist in New York City with over 40 years of experience in mental health and wellness. Trained at prestigious institutions including the University of Buenos Aires, University of Paris V René Descartes, and North Shore University Hospital-Cornell, she integrates science-based pharmacological and psychotherapeutic approaches tailored to each individual’s unique needs. Dr. Barchilon conducts thorough evaluations that consider potential medical contributors to psychiatric symptoms and collaborates closely with patients, families, and other specialists to create comprehensive treatment plans. Her areas of expertise include mood and anxiety disorders, OCD, ADHD, eating and personality disorders, and reproductive psychiatry. She works with individuals, couples, and families, and is fluent in English, French, and Spanish.
