ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

David Light, MD is a fellowship trained, board certified plastic surgeon with a dual practice, focused on breast reconstruction and aesthetic surgery. Dr. Light completed his plastic surgery residency at the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic. He went on to the University of Pennsylvania and Fox Chase Cancer Center to complete a reconstructive microsurgery fellowship. Dr. Light’s expertise includes microsurgical breast reconstruction techniques, including DIEP flaps, surgical treatment of lymphedema and sensory restoration of the reconstructed breast. Dr. Light has authored numerous peer reviewed articles and lectured on breast reconstruction nationally.

Natalie Dukshtein, LMSW, is a Licensed Master Social Worker at the Nancy Marx Cancer Wellness Center at Sid Jacobson JCC, where she leads the Younger Adult Cancer Connection (YACC) program. Natalie works closely with individuals ages 18–49 impacted by cancer, helping to create supportive, developmentally appropriate programming that addresses the unique emotional, practical, and psychosocial challenges younger adults face during and after diagnosis. Through support groups, educational workshops, wellness programming, and community-building events, she is passionate about ensuring no one has to navigate cancer alone.
