Katie Beam

Katherine (Katie) Beam, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant with the NYBRA Plastic Surgery team. She earned her BS from Quinnipiac University and her Master of Health Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Lock Haven University, followed by a surgical PA residency at Norwalk Hospital in affiliation with Yale University. There, she gained hands-on experience across multiple surgical specialties, including general, trauma, orthopedic, vascular, and plastic surgery.

Katie began her career in multispecialty surgery before joining Northwell Health in 2017, where she spent eight years specializing in plastic and reconstructive surgery. She managed comprehensive patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings and assisted in a wide range of procedures, including autologous and implant-based breast reconstruction, breast augmentation, reduction, mastopexy, body contouring, and facial procedures.

In 2023, Katie was promoted to Senior Physician Assistant, providing surgical support for complex autologous breast reconstructions, including DIEP, PAP, and LAP flap procedures, and mentoring junior PAs. She is dedicated to working collaboratively with surgeons and clinical teams to deliver precise, compassionate care and exceptional patient outcomes.
