ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Dr. Heather Zinkin is the Chief of Radiation Medicine at Huntington Hospital, Northwell Health. She attended the University of Pennsylvania where she earned her BA and graduated from NYU School of Medicine. Dr. Zinkin performed her medical internship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and residency in radiation oncology at the Tufts/ Brown University combined program and served as Chief Resident. She then returned to New York where she has been practicing for the past 19 years. Dr. Zinkin has a special interest in integrative oncology, patient wellness and breast cancer. She has given many survivorship lectures and is an active member of the Northwell Wellness Center. She completed the Northwell integrative medicine certificate program, audits practices for quality for the American College of Radiation Oncology, and holds certificates in Nutrition from Cornell University. She serves on the Huntington Hospital Medical board and was awarded the Northwell Patient Choice Award in 2024 and 2025.
